The chemical industry bases across the country are building up their fertilizer production capacities to increase the output.
At the outset of the year, the first year of the new five-plan, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex completed a new catalyst production base to lay a solid material and technical foundation for stabilizing fertilizer production. Now it produces more fertilizer than planned every day, remarkably lowering the norms for the consumption of materials per unit.
It is increasing the number of gas generators in operation and the output per generator, while introducing the innovative plans geared to improving the performance of the compressors and speeding up the rate of packing and forwarding.
In addition, it, in cooperation with the relevant scientific research unit, established the vibration checkup and protection system in the synthetic gas compressors so as to increase their operating rate.
The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, which has never failed to complete its monthly production plan since the beginning of this year, also achieves high production results on a daily average.
It adopted a new technique to increase the efficiency of ammonia separation by remodelling the tower to condense and separate it, and it is increasing its output by running the relevant equipment at full capacity.
Through heated drive for technical innovation it has succeeded in raising the power factor of electric motor used for the compressor in the ammonia synthesis process, thereby increasing output with less cost.
