One late night in August 2018 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un oversaw the pilot run of a new-type trolley bus to be used for public transport.
When the trolley bus began to run along silent streets of the capital city of Pyongyang, he looked round the interior of the bus and talked about the arrangement of the seats.
A trolley bus runs only in its own section in the city, so the seats may be arranged broadwise, he said, adding that by doing so it would be possible to increase the number of seats and promote the convenience of the commuters. And he stressed the need to make a trolley bus in such a way as to make the people feel convenient.
After a while, he asked the driver to operate the microphone to feel the volume, and he was pleased that all the technical specifications were normal.
He gave detailed instructions as he guided the test run deep into the night as the first “commuter” of the new trolley bus. Accompanying officials got to have a better understanding of his noble intention that officials should think first of the people’s convenience when they plan to do a job and always take their demand and appraisal as the absolute standard and work to provide convenience to the commuters as much as possible.
