The celebrations of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War are to be splendidly held in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, adding to the joy and excitement of the victors greeting as an all-people auspicious event the great V-Day that gave immortal glory and reputation to our dignified and powerful state.
The people across the country extend sincere tribute and warm congratulations to the masters of the legendary heroic era who are glorifying the precious pride, honour and noble life as veterans of the victor nation under the great loving care and benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Officials of the Party and power organs and working people in the relevant regions, and families and relatives warmly saw off the war veterans and persons of wartime merits who, on behalf of the victorious wartime generation, were invited to the celebrations which will fully demonstrate once again the dignity, prestige, indomitable faith and will of the DPRK and its people who are steadily carrying forward the immortal soul and spirit of the victors of the great years who created the legendary tale of miraculous victory in the war and the heroic biography of a powerful country.
The participants in the celebrations of the V-Day arrived in Pyongyang by train and bus on July 25.
Senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea warmly greeted them at Pyongyang Railway Station and relevant lodgings.
Citizens, youth and students in the streets of the capital city waved their hands to the processions of the buses carrying them, sending greetings of respect to them.
Meanwhile, service personnel of a battery of the Korean People’s Army arrived in Pyongyang on the same day. The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un invited them as special guests to the celebrations of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the war.
