Comrade Wang Yajun, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK, hosted a reception at his embassy on October 25 on the occasion of the 75 th anniversary of the joining by the Chinese People’s Volunteers (CPV) in the Korean front.
Present there on invitation were Comrade No Kwang Chol, Minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Comrade Mun Song Hyok, Vice Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), Comrade Pak Myong Ho, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other officials concerned.
Present there were staff members of the Chinese embassy, the delegation of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, the delegation of veterans and families of martyrs of the CPV and Chinese guests staying in the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the reception.
Speakers referred to the historic significance of the CPV’s joining in the Korean front 75 years ago and the feats of the CPV martyrs who devoted their precious lives to the revolutionary war of the Korean people.
They expressed the will to carry forward the glorious tradition and the great friendship under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries, and shape a more beautiful future of the two countries’ socialist cause and the DPRK-China relations.
The participants toasted to the good health of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and esteemed Comrade Xi Jinping, to the steady development of the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and China, and to the prosperity of the two countries.
Earlier, the Chinese consul general in Chongjin hosted a reception on the same occasion.
