Flower Baskets Laid before Friendship Tower and Cemeteries of CPV Fallen Soldiers

Flower baskets were placed at the Friendship Tower on October 25 on the occasion of the 75 th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers' joining in the Korean front.
The guard of honour of the Korean People’s Army lined up at the tower.
Present there were Comrade Kim Song Nam, Director of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), and other officials concerned.
Also present there were Comrade Wang Yajun, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK, members of his embassy, the delegation of CPV veterans and families of its fallen soldiers on the visit to the DPRK, Chinese guests staying in Pyongyang, and Chinese students and residents in the DPRK.
The national anthems of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) were played.
Laid there were flower baskets in the names of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the DPRK Cabinet and those in the names of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the State Council of the PRC, the Central Military Commission of the CPC and the Central Military Commission of the PRC.
The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers of the CPV and looked around the tower.
Flower baskets were also placed at the cemeteries of the CPV fallen soldiers in Anju City and Hoechang County in South Phyongan Province, Kaesong Municipality, Hyongjesan District of Pyongyang Municipality and Onsong County of North Hamgyong Province.
