In August 2024, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited a unit of theKorean People's Army. There he said that the people are our God, they should thinkof the inconvenience the evacuated flood victims would feel even at that momentwhen the sultry weather persisted and they had to step up the reconstruction ofdisaster-stricken areas to finish it as soon as possible.
And he noted that it was important tomake sure that the communist virtue of “one for all and all for one” wouldprevail throughout the country even in the hard times and the KPA should alsoshow their filial piety to the people like their sons and daughters in thiseffort.
Later, he visited the construction sitesof dwelling houses in several flood-hit areas and saw that the houses for floodvictims were built flawlessly. His field guidance tours were recorded ashistoric events that taught the officers and men of the KPA from what viewpointand with what attitude they should carry on the struggle for creation for thepeople's happiness.
Today the KPA servicepersonnel are filled with strong determination to be always as thorough and courageous in defending thesovereignty of the country and the security and well-being of the people as theslogans emblazoned on their glorious colours say by thoroughly applying thenoble intention of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people implantedby the General Secretary in them.
