A reception was given at the embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Russia on March 31 to commemorate the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Invited to the reception were Andrei Klimov, member of the Bureau of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party, personages of the Russian government, political parties, parliament and institutions including the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Moscow City Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Socialist Political Party "A Just Russia", the Federation Council, the State Duma and the newspaper Zavtra, and staff members of diplomatic missions of different countries in Russia.
Present there were Sin Hong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to Russia, and staff members of his embassy.
The participants laid a floral basket and flowers before a photo of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in his revolutionary activities and paid respects to him.
Then they looked round the photos on the revolutionary lives and exploits of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the exploits performed by Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia, their famous works and photos showing the invincible might and proud development of the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the reception.
