The Western hegemony-seeking policy and arbitrariness are shaking the foundation of global peace and security and entailing a series of armed conflicts throughout the world. Concern for this situation is growing.
During the 61 st session of the UN Human Rights Council attended by representatives of 160 plus countries and over 100 non-governmental organizations, 15 developing countries including Russia, China, Belarus and Zimbabwe expressed their opposition to the unilateral sanctions and armed invasions occurring in international relations. They denounced the West for conniving at the armed invasion of Iran by the U.S. and Israel.
They condemned the U.S. and Israel’s aerial bombardment of civilian structures including schools and hospitals in Iran, and stressed that a thorough investigation must be conducted.
They also called for opposing the politicization of human rights and complying with the principles of respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity.
