An enlarged plenary meeting of the Cabinet Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held on April 1 to thoroughly implement the important tasks set forth in the historic policy speech made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly.
Present at the meeting were Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Tok Hun, First Vice-Premier of the Cabinet, Pak Jong Gun, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet and Chairman of the State Planning Commission, Chief Secretary Ri Yong Sik and other members and alternate members of the Cabinet Party Committee. Officials concerned were on hand as observers.
The meeting discussed and decided on the measures to thoroughly implement the important tasks set forth in the historic policy speech, firmly adhering to the line of the three revolutions, ideological, technical and cultural.
An in-depth discussion was made on the draft decision drawn up on the basis of the policy speech that comprehensively and scientifically indicated the road of victory to be taken by our state at the new stage of accomplishing the socialist cause and the perfect action programmes.
The meeting adopted the completed decision with unanimous approval.
