The Mindulle Notebook Factory is situated on the banks of the Pothong River in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
The factory with a history of ten years has so far produced many notebooks and supplied them to all kindergarten children and students of different educational institutions across the country.
Every notebook produced at the factory is printed with the logo of “Mindulle” in a small circle which describes a dandelion in bloom under the blue sky and its seeds flying about in the wind.
In recent years, the factory has built up production foundations for saving land, labour and cost and specialized in production according to school types and indices, thus increasing output every year.
The factory’s establishment and development is associated with the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ’s noble outlook on the rising generation.
He personally initiated the construction of the factory, guided its layout, gave it the current name and chose the logo of its products.
He visited the newly built factory in April 2016 and looked round its various places with pleasure all along, asking its workers to produce many notebooks for children and students with maternal affection.
Since then, the notebooks are being transported to every part of the country by trains and trucks inscribed with the logo.
Last year the factory built a modern paper mill for notebook production.
Foreign visitors to the factory said that the DPRK is the only country that solves even the problem of notebooks for children across the country and they came to know its leader Kim Jong Un ’s love for younger generation.
