Top ten IT model units of 2025 have been selected.
Those selected are the Chollima Tile Factory, Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory, Agricultural Informatization Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science, Kalma Foodstuff Factory, Sci-Tech Complex, Okryu Restaurant, Pyongyang Teachers Training College, Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, East Pyongyang Middle School No. 1 and Ryomyong Primary School in Taesong District.
They have set an example in building IT infrastructure and developing and using various information systems to optimize management and production and improve the quality of their products.
The Chollima Tile Factory was one of the top ten units last year, too.
It carried out collection, analysis, simulation and prediction of information for decision-making in management, thus putting its production and management on a scientific footing.
The Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory has developed its management information program into a decision-making support system and put several of its production lines on an intelligent and unmanned basis to churn out products favoured by the people.
Ryomyong Primary School in Taesong District has been selected as one of the top ten model units for the third time.
It has developed and introduced a program for browsing through educational resources, a teaching management program and an intellectual teaching multimedia by relying on its own forces. And it has adopted advanced information technology and means to improve the quality of teaching and enhance the intellectual attainment and creative ability of students.
Its educational IT products are in use by many educational establishments across the country.
