One summer day in 2016, the respected General Secretary KimJong Un visited a factory.
That day, he looked round different places of the factoryfor long hours despite sultry weather.
When he was about to open the door to a workplace, anofficial said to him that the place reeked of vinyl chloride.
Then he said he had to surely go into the place as it wasthe workplace of workers, and entered the place.
Although it was equipped with a ventilator, it gave off thestrong smell of vinyl chloride.
Officials felt a sense of guilt for having him in such asmelly place. He told them to install more ventilators in the workplace,feeling anxious about the health of workers.
Saying that the health of workers is more precious than goodproduction results, he earnestly requested the officials to set up moreventilators in a day or two so that workers could do work in clean air.
The officials were deeply moved as they heard the instructionsof the General Secretary who thinks of workers’ health before productionresults.
After his visit to the factory, it improved theenvironment of the workplace and fixed more ventilators in it to make it alwaysfilled with fresh air.
