The National Games of Schoolchildren--2025 came to a close.
They opened in January and were held through five stages. They served as an important occasion in encouraging the schoolchildren to possess at least one sports technique by strengthening the school sports.
The sports circle members of schools in the city of Pyongyang, South Hamgyong Province and North Phyongan Province displayed their sports techniques, organizing ability and unity at the games, bringing about good results.
A closing ceremony was held at the Hamhung Youth Open-Air Theatre on the 10th with the attendance of youth league officials, guidance teachers of sports circles and schoolchildren.
Total ranking of provinces was announced and citations and trophy cups were awarded to the excellent organizations and best player prizes to the circle members who distinguished themselves in the games.
A closing address was made by Mun Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League.
