The General Association of Koreans in China held celebrations in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province of China on July 27 on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Present at the celebrations were officials of the headquarters of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Chairman of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Chairman of the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and so on.
The participants watched Part 6 "Immortal Feats, Great Victory" of the Korean documentary "Fatherland Liberation War" dealing with the undying achievements made by the great leader Kim Il Sung for war victory and the merits of defenders of the country in the 1950s.
Then, there was a round-table talk.
Choe Un Bok, Chairwoman of the General Association of Koreans in China, stressed that the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung found himself on the road to the front even in a hail of bullets to arouse the entire people to the sacred war for defending the dignity and sovereignty of the state, shouldering the heavy burden of war.
Thanks to his outstanding leadership, the aggressive ambition of the US imperialists was broken to pieces and the Korean people could create legendary heroic myths in the sky and on the land and the sea, which are unprecedented in the world history of wars, she said.
Other speakers made a firm resolve to support the leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un with loyalty by carrying forward the soul of the victorious wartime generation and contribute to prosperity of the socialist motherland.
That day, Cha Sang Bo, Vice-Chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, made public a press statement under the title "The History of Great War Victory Will Be Eternal".
