Solidarity meetings were held in Britain and Germany on June 25 on the occasion of the June 25--July 27 month of anti-US joint struggle.
Present there were personages of progressive political parties in Britain and members of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people from different countries including the Britain-Korea Friendship Association and the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany.
Speeches were made at the meetings.
The Chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany dwelt upon the fact that the Korean people achieved a brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War under the outstanding guidance of the great leader Kim Il Sung, thus humbling the US imperialists who were boasting of their "mightiness" and bringing about the beginning of their shameful downhill turn.
He spoke highly of the remarkable successes made by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in boosting its self-reliant defence capabilities under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, and stressed that the DPRK led by the prominent leader will be invincible.
The Chairman of the Britain-Korea Friendship Association said the Korean people repelled the aggression of the US imperialists with the will of do-or-die resistance and won a great victory, firmly rallied around their leader, and added that the mass heroism and ardent patriotic spirit displayed by the Korean people and service personnel of the People's Army in the Fatherland Liberation War are perfectly carried forward today, too.
