On the occasion of June 25, the Korean people are further hardening their will to reliably defend justice, peace and socialism from the persistent tyranny and aggression of imperialism and make a new history of great victory and change, demonstrating the dignity and spirit of the great power before the whole world.

There took place a mass rally in Sinchon, a historic place clearly proving the crimes committed by the US imperialists and the source of the Korean people’s will to take revenge upon the enemies, on June 25, the day of struggle against US imperialism.

A huge crowd of people gathered in the plaza of the Sinchon Class Education House and its surroundings with deep hatred and resentment against the sworn enemies who plunged this land into the bloodbath of war of aggression and are hell-bent on the confrontation with their country, committing crimes one after another.

Present at the mass rally were Choe Tong Myong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials, officials of working people’s organizations, ministries and national agencies and officials, working people, youth and students in South Hwanghae Province.

Prior to the rally, the participants laid flowers before the tombs of 400 mothers and 102 children and paid silent tribute to them.

At the rally, an artistic motivation performance on the theme of class education was given to expose and denounce the brutal atrocities committed by the US imperialist murderers and class enemies against the Korean people during the Fatherland Liberation War.

Through the numbers vividly reminding the Korean people of the war which left a permanent scar in their hearts and the terrible scenes in which the land of the country was reduced to a bloodbath, the participants clearly realized once again the immutable truth that if the country had been as strong as it is now and its people had been equipped with staunch class consciousness, there would not have been the lesson made 70-odd years ago.

At the meeting, speakers, representing the Korean people’s retaliatory spirit and anti-US resistance will, expressed their firm determination to mercilessly smash the enemies’ desperate moves and firmly defend their most righteous cause, beloved country and socialist system, bitterly denouncing the thrice-cursed atrocities committed by the US imperialists and class enemies in their country.

The Korean people’s willingness to take revenge upon the enemies is growing stronger as they cherish the immutable truth of class struggle and the determination of punishment in Sinchon, the source of the Korean people’s bitter hatred and enraged public sentiment, they said, adding that the US imperialists, who have been ill-famed as “the native place of massacre” since its birth and made war of aggression and massacre of other nations an element of instinct for existence, are getting more outrageous in their barbaric nature.

They stressed that the Korean people are cementing the unshakable belief through June 25 that in order to prevent the bitter history from repeating itself and defend justice from injustice, they must be strong and build the strongest national power to which no one can challenge.

The speakers said that the heroic struggle of the Korean people, single-mindedly united around the Party Central Committee with the will to fight to the last against the forces trying to encroach upon the sovereignty and dignity of their country and firm belief that their choice is justice, would frustrate the hegemonistic and arbitrary practices of the imperialists and create a new world of independence and justice.

Then followed a procession.

The ranks of avengers, regarding it as a task of utmost urgency facing their generation to equip themselves with clear outlook on arch enemy and take revenge upon them, marched, shouting slogans “Let us annihilate the US imperialist aggressors, the sworn enemy of the Korean people!” and “Let us show the mettle of heroic Korea in the showdown with the US!”

The ranks, filled with unshakable faith and resolve to defend the great Party, the country and socialism, demonstrated the fighting spirit and courage of the defenders of socialism to deal a hard blow to the enemies by steadily carrying forward the patriotic spirit and giving full play to the staunch will of punishment and to do their parts in the struggle for strengthening the national power and accelerating the advance of socialism.

The mass rally fully demonstrated once again the spirit and mettle of the Korean people to surely win a great victory in the confrontation with the US and glorify the dignity, honour and rosy future of their powerful state forever by fully displaying the invincibility of ever-victorious heroic Korea.
