Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on April 9.
The message reads as follows:
I extend my heartfelt thanks to you for your warm congratulations on my reelection as President of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at the First Session of the 15 th Supreme People’s Assembly.
I express my belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between our two Parties and two countries will continue to develop in depth in conformity with the spirit of the agreement reached at our meeting in Pyongyang last October.
I wish you good health and success in your responsible work for leading the Party and the state.
