Israeli parliament cooks up ‘death penalty law’ against Palestinians, provoking strong denunciation throughout international community

Hell-bent on territorial expansion, the Zionists cooked up a “death penalty law” legalizing the massacre of the Palestinian people with a view to mercilessly clamping down on the people who oppose their occupation policy.
On March 30, the Israeli parliament passed a bill approving the execution of the Palestinians convicted of “terrorism” in the West Bank.
Adopted by Israel’s ultra-right politicians, the law is the “death penalty law” targeting the Palestinians waging a war of resistance against the “existence of the State of Israel” and is not applied to Israelis who killed the Palestinians.
Accordingly, courts can sentence Palestinians to death without public prosecutors’ demand for death penalty and even the unanimous decision of judges.
In a word, the true purpose of the law is to brand the resistance of Palestinians in the West Bank as “terrorism” and allow Israelis to kill them at any time on the pretext of “anti-terrorism”.
Worse still, the Israeli parliament fabricated the law at a time when the Jewish settlers’ violence against the Palestinians is increasing. This has revealed more nakedly the ferocity and viciousness of the Zionist regime intending to exterminate the Palestinians and permanently occupy and completely rule over their territory.
The fabrication of the cruel “death penalty law” by the Israeli warmongers is arousing strong protest and denunciation from the international community.
The secretary general of the League of Arab States decried Israel’s adoption of the law reflecting the heinous racist policy as part of the Zionist regime’s occupation moves aimed at denying the existence of the Palestinians in the West Bank and their human rights and seizing their territory.
Germany, Iraq and many other countries branded and condemned it as a blatant violation of international law and as discrimination against the Palestinians.
The European Union and the United Nations demanded that the Israeli parliament abolish the law, expressing concern that its behaviour is obviously contrary to the international legal obligation to ensure the right to life, etc.
