The Sangwon Cement Complex is miraculously increasing production to implement the task set forth at the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
After listening to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un’s speech of encouragement on his visit to their complex, the Sangwon workers began to give fuller play to their spiritual strength.
They now produce cement over 1.2 times more than planned every day through a heroic struggle transcending the effort of last year when they set a high production record since the inauguration of the complex.
This year, the first year of attaining new perspective goals, the demand for cement with higher quality indexes has sharply increased in the sites of creation and construction throughout the country.
Officials of the complex have made every effort to devise scientific methods to this end.
They scientifically set the correct amount of additives to suit the uses of cement, while working out a plan for improving its fineness and pooling their wisdom with technicians and skilled workers to that end, thus making it possible to increase production.
Equipment repair, the key to success in carrying out the increased production task, is done scrupulously so as to ensure the highest efficiency of equipment.
Until last year, the controllers of the central control room held a consultative meeting on processes every week, but at present they immediately hold such a meeting if any problem arises in any process to take measures for the stable operation of the process.
The calcination workshop, which found out a rational way to increase the efficiency of clinker production, is making strenuous efforts to that end, while the compound raw materials workshop has found out and introduced various methods to maximize the time of equipment operation.
The Sangwon workers are in high spirits to fulfil their increased production task unconditionally with an innovative vision, activeness and bold practice.
