The message reads:

I express deep thanks to you for the message of warm greetings you sent as regards my reelection as President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly.
Through the message, I could feel the invariable support and friendship of yours and the Chinese party and government toward me and our Party and government.
I am pleased with the fact that the traditional DPRK-China relations are developing onto a new high stage in accordance with the aspirations and desires of the two parties and two peoples according to the important agreement reached at the meeting with you in September last year.
Steadfast is the stand of our Party and government of the DPRK to keep intensifying and developing the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations with socialism as the core.
Believing that the Chinese people would make a new progress in the journey for building a modern socialist state comprehensively under the leadership of the Communist Party of China with you as the core, I wish you good health and greater success in your responsible work.
