Active preparations for 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival in different countries

The April Spring Friendship Art Festival is a festival in praise of great man which has been held with splendour under the ideas of independence, peace and friendship decade after decade and century after century.
The festival premiered in April 1982 amid the boundless admiration and best wishes of all people for the great leader Kim Il Sung who rendered immortal services to carving out the destiny of the masses of the people and accomplishing the human cause of independence. It made a great contribution to strengthening friendship, unity and cultural exchange between the peoples and artistes in different countries of the world and jointly developing the musical art of humanity.
Over the past 40-odd years, the festival has been attended by nearly 20,000 foreigners and overseas compatriots from a total of more than 2,090 art troupes, cultural delegations, visiting groups and supporters' organizations in many countries.
Art organizations and artistes in many countries are making unstinted efforts to prepare the festival so as to decorate the April holiday as a beautiful flower garden of art this year, too.
At present, art organizations and famous artistes in tens of countries have applied for participation in the festival and sent the works to be put on the stage they prepared with sincerity.
