Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received congratulatory messages and letters from different countries on the occasion of his election as the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The messages and letters came from the acting president of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the president of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the chairman of the Mongolian People's Party, the president of the Bangladesh People's League, the chairman of the People's Party of Cambodia, the chairman of the Motherland Party of Türkiye, the chairman of the Communist Party of Germany, the chairman and the international secretary of the German Communist Party, the chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, the chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bulgaria, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communists' Party, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, the chairperson of the Belaya Ruci Party, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Switzerland, the chairman and the international secretary of the Communist Party in Sweden, the president of the Slovenian National Party, the chairman of the Slovak Communist Party and the secretary general of its Central Committee, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Portugal, the general secretary and the international secretary of the Central Committee of the New Yugoslav Communist Party, the general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Italy.
Kim Jong Un also received congratulatory messages and letters from the international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League, the director of the International Department of the Socialist Workers' Party of Croatia, the secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, the director-general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and other high-ranking officials of political, social and economic circles and representatives of Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in China, Russia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Sweden, the Czech Republic, France, Finland, Croatia, Poland, Serbia, Britain, Austria, Italy, Nigeria, Mali, Equatorial Guinea, DR Congo, Tunisia, Mexico, Brazil, Canada and Ecuador.
The congratulatory messages and letters extended warm congratulations and sincere greetings to Kim Jong Un .
They stressed that his election as the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea is an expression of the unanimous desire and boundless trust of the WPK members and all the DPRK people.
They expressed belief that the WPK and the DPRK people would achieve bigger successes in the new struggle for victoriously advancing the socialist cause under the guidance of Kim Jong Un . -0-
