The grand art performance "Song Dedicated to the Motherly Party", which significantly commemorated the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, is going on with splendour at Pyongyang Indoor Stadium every day.
Among the audience were commanding officers and soldiers of the units involved in the military parade commemorating the Party Congress and working people, youth and students in the capital city.
The performance shows in a grand epic style the immortal exploits of the WPK which is ushering in a great heyday of comprehensive prosperity and development to be specially recorded in history while leading the struggle for accomplishing the great cause of building a rich country with a strong army to brilliant victory and a great upsurge.
The performance was acclaimed by the audience for reflecting the ardent patriotic spirit of the service personnel of the People's Army to fulfil their honourable mission and duty as the army of the Party and the people at frontline posts and workplaces for creation and construction for the happiness of the people and the ideological and moral traits of the young vanguard demonstrating their honour as the pathfinder and shock brigade for socialist construction, with the full combination of vocal and instrumental music, dance and gymnastics, back-ground stand and ever-changing lighting.
In such songs as "Long Live the Workers' Party of Korea" and "Ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea", the performers sang loudly of the spirit of advance peculiar to the Korean revolution, firmly united in one mind under the banner of patriotism, and the boundless trust of the people across the country in the great WPK, the organizer and guide of all victories and glory.
