The fourth-day sitting of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea was held on February 22.
Speeches were made on the first agenda item "Review of the work of the WPK Central Committee" at the fourth-day sitting of the congress.
The congress discussed the second agenda item "On the revision of the WPK rules".
It discussed the third agenda item "Election of the central leadership of the WPK".
The congress elected Comrade Kim Jong Un as Member of the Ninth Party Central Committee
The Ninth Congress of the WPK adopted the decision on electing Comrade Kim Jong Un as General Secretary of the WPK with unanimous approval.
The delegates will study and discuss sectional plans to be reflected on the decision of the congress based on the goals for struggle put forth in the report on the review of the work of the Party Central Committee according to the plan of the work of the congress.
