Exhibition of sci-tech achievements in different sectors of national economy opens

The exhibition of sci-tech achievements in different sectors of the national economy-2025 opened with due ceremony at the IT Industry Hall of the Three-Revolution Exhibition House on December 29.
The show, held on the theme of "Era of prosperity advancing on the strength of science and technology", displayed in the form of real objects, models, diagrams and multimedia the scientific and technological achievements made by more than 360 institutions, enterprises and organizations of the provincial people's committees and in the fields of metallurgical, chemical, electric power and machine-building industries, agriculture, light industry and fishery.
Present at the opening ceremony were Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, An Kum Chol, minister of Metallurgical Industry, Kim Yu Il, minister of Electric Power Industry, Kim Song Bin, chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, Kim Sung Jin, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned and officials, scientists and technicians of the exhibiting units and relevant units.
Pak Jong Gun, vice-premier of the Cabinet and concurrently chairman of the State Planning Commission, delivered an opening address.
He said that the exhibition will serve as a significant occasion comprehensively showing the heightened fighting spirit of officials and working people across the country who are determined to pave a broad avenue to the comprehensive rejuvenation of the country with science and technology as the main weapon and motive force of development and the dynamic advance of the country making a leap forward on the strength of science and technology.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the exhibition hall.
