Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un receives congratulatory letter from Chongryon Central Standing Committee

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on January 1.
The letter said that the Chongryon Central Standing Committee paid the deepest tribute to the great President Kim Il Sung and the great General Kim Jong Il on the first morning of the historic New Year 2026 when the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is to be held, and extended the highest glory and warmest congratulations to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in reflection of the boundless reverence and loyalty of all the Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan.
The respected Marshal has ushered in a new era of building up the national power and enhancing the national prestige, to be specially recorded in the history of the development of the DPRK, opened up a heyday in the development of its armed forces and firmly defended the sovereignty of the country and wellbeing of its people, it noted.
It said that he personally sent a letter "Let Us Write a New Great Chapter in the History of the Movement of Koreans in Japan by Carrying forward the Patriotic Spirit of the Founder Generation" on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Chongryon to provide it with the strategy for invincibility and a grand blueprint for strengthening it, which enables it to ensure the eternal continuity of its glorious patriotic history characterized by the traditions of loyalty, unity and patriotism pioneered by the generation of the founders of Chongryon.
It stated that last year he sent Chongryon a huge amount of money as educational aid fund and stipend for the Korean children in Japan and invited a number of delegations and groups to the homeland, and showed such fatherly love as enabling Korean students in Japan to take part in the art performance for celebrating the New Year 2026.
The letter expressed the pledge to go all out for implementing the three-point key undertakings, set forth in the important letter sent by Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Chongryon, by keeping pace with the ever-soaring working spirit and morale of the socialist homeland that will enter a new phase of transformation with the Ninth Congress of the WPK as a momentum, so as to effect a new upsurge in the patriotic movement for safeguarding the rights and interests of Koreans in Japan, bringing up the rising generations to be robust and firmly preserving the national identity of the Korean community.
