Modern houses have been built at the Majon and Naeho farms in Hamhung City and the Paeksang Farm in Pujon County, South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK. Agricultural workers there were full of excitement and joy as they came to lead a worthwhile life enjoying the socialist civilization.
The cozy houses built to preserve the characteristics of relevant regions and the villages that present a beautiful landscape tell of the benevolence of the motherly Workers’ Party of Korea to provide the agricultural workers with a more affluent and civilized life.
Addresses were made at the ceremonies of moving into new houses attended by officials of the Party and power organs in South Hamgyong Province and the relevant areas, builders and agricultural workers. Then house licences were handed over to be followed by speeches.
As the house-moving began, the villages were in a festive mood with the agricultural workers’ happy laughter and songs and cheerful dance parties.
Officials congratulated the agricultural workers who became the owners of the new dwellings and gave them daily necessities, sharing joy with them.
