Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- Celebrations took place in Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Germany, Bulgaria, Sweden, Austria, Iceland, France, Finland and Mexico in the period from September 4 to 8 on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Present there were personages of governments, parliaments, political parties, organizations and institutions of relevant countries and members of organizations for the study of Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people. Speeches were made there.

The chief of the Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism praised the DPRK for covering the road of victory and glory under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il .

Today the DPRK people are working fresh miracles one after another on the road of the overall development of socialism under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the chief said.

A member of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Journalist Association said that the high position of the DPRK in the international arena was proved by the fact that Kim Jong Un , president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, occupied the centre of the platform together with the leaders of Russia and China during the commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War recently held in Beijing.
