The "National Sci-Tech Successes Exhibition in the Field of Furniture and Finishing Building Materials--2025" came to a close.
Its closing ceremony was held at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang on the 12th. Present at the ceremony were Vice-Premier Kim Jong Gwan, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Jon In Chol, officials concerned, officials of the exhibitor-units and working people.
A closing address was made by the Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology.
The Yonggwang Furniture Joint Venture Company and the Chollima Tile Factory were highly estimated at the exhibition as they have solved sci-tech problems for achieving self-sufficiency in building parts and developed new finishing building materials with domestic raw-material resources according to the intention of the Party on making the building parts multifarious, diverse and multicoloured on a high level.
During the exhibition, the participants actively shared and transferred the successes and experiences made in the course of ensuring home production of the finishing building materials.
