The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex increases its daily output by hundreds of thousands of kWh.
The complex has maintained the power generation on a high level by raising the operating rate of generators and ensuring close coordination between processes.
Workshop No. 5, which plays a big role in production, has increased the frequency of checkup and serviced the equipment in a responsible manner, thus keeping normal operation of boilers and turbine generators.
And the operators strictly observe the technical requirements in operating generating equipment, so as to increase the working days of the generators.
Those in charge of the preceding process maximize the operating rate of equipment to ensure the timely supply of coal needed for power production, while others in charge of supplying raw and other materials provide enough spare parts and materials for the maintenance of generating equipment, including accessories of reducers, steel balls, welding rods and screws.
In particular, the complex has introduced a distributed control system into Generator No. 3 to enhance the efficiency of the boiler and turbine generator. In this way they have remarkably reduced the coal consumption per kW of electricity and lengthened the operation days of the generator.
