All the workers at the Anju Pump Factory have turned out to implement the tasks set forth at the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Last year the factory overfulfilled its plan for producing pumps to be supplied to various economic sectors.
True to the WPK’s intention to bring the country’s irrigation system to perfection within the period of the 5-year plan for national economic development, it creditably carried out the plan for producing pumps for irrigation which was two times higher than those for previous years.
And it implemented the additional task of producing pumps for rehabilitation projects within the set time.
We have bettered annual production record consecutively since 2022 by holding fast to science and technology as the lifeline of increased production.
Last year we introduced new technological proposals into production, thereby shortening the time of the repair of the copula by half. We also increased the capacity of the large drying furnace by 1.5 times by remodelling it.
In addition, we manufactured a metal mould casting machine and installed it in casting production line, which helped improve the dimensional accuracy and surface finish of products and increase productivity.
We developed efficient pumps of new type in which advanced techniques are introduced.
We are faced with an enormous task this year.
On the basis of the successes we achieved last year, we will constantly upgrade the technical performance of equipment so as to produce a larger number of different types of pumps of higher quality and supply them to various sectors of the economy.
