Amid the blessing of the whole country, a performance of schoolchildren greeting the New Year 2025 was given at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace on January 1.
Among the audience were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly, and other senior Party, government and military officials, labour innovators and persons of distinguished services invited to the New Year celebrations, Pyongyang citizens, students of the revolutionary schools and schoolchildren.
Overseas compatriots staying in the socialist homeland enjoyed the performance.
The performance began with prologue “We present New Year’s greetings to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un .” The schoolchildren presented a flower basket to the stage, reflecting their gratitude to the respected fatherly Marshal.
They showed through their cheerful songs and beautiful dances the fact that the bright future and eternal happiness are guaranteed thanks to the fatherly Marshal who is taking care of all students and pupils and children of the country, including Pyongyang and the remote mountain and islet villages and those in alien lands, with his paternal love and affection.
The performance was acclaimed by the audience as it artistically represented the aspiration and determination of the young revolutionaries and patriots.
