These days the Pyongyang General Electric Cable Factory 326 is overfulfilling its plan for the production of electric cables of various sizes.

This year alone, the workers of the factory presented dozens of technical innovation plans and inventions and introduced into practice several of them with high economic effectiveness and profitability, thereby contributing to further revitalizing production.
Meanwhile, the factory is pressing on with the modernization of equipment in a planned way, thus achieving good results.
It upgraded a low-speed drawing machine to double the qualitative indices of products and newly made and introduced a winder for the plastic extrusion process to increase productivity 1.2 times as compared to before.
It also strives to develop new products. As a result, it produces a fireproof electrical wire using nano mica bands. It is said that the wire can be used at the temperatures between minus 60 degrees centigrade and plus 800 degrees centigrade.
