The Natural Energy Institute of the State Academy of Sciences developed and introduced a high-voltage pulse electric-field water treatment device.

Using the change of the physical and chemical properties of water passing through a high-voltage pulse electric field, it prevents and removes fouling, prevents corrosion and acts as disinfectant.

In the process of studying the best water treatment methods that have widely been developed and used worldwide, the researchers of the institute set a goal to develop a new water treatment device and intensified relevant field introduction for years in order to make such a device that is easy to use and low in failure rate and consumes less electricity.

Thus they successfully solved the problems of electrode insulation and pulse power, major hindrances to the development of the device, and completed it as a highly efficient one.

The researchers scientifically confirmed that the use of the device causes neither compound nor deposit in water for a certain period of time as it enhances the electrical polarity of water.

High-tech products prove highly profitable

Application technology products developed by the high-tech products development company of Sinuiju Teachers Training College by using air ionization technology are attracting public attention.

The researchers succeeded in developing the product by researching and completing in a Korean way a high-pressure generator and control unit that can produce large amounts of air anions and ozone of moderate concentrations.

Technique of improving productivity of ammonia

The technical group of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex established a technique of raising the separation efficiency and increasing the production of ammonia by rationally remodelling the structure of the ammonia condensation and separation tower.

The technical group held dozens of rounds of discussions to explore a new structural mode of the tower capable of raising the separation efficiency of ammonia and complete its design.

The introduction of the new technique has made it possible to increase the production of ammonia and lengthen the repair cycle of various kinds of equipment pieces.

It is said that if the technique is widely introduced into separators used in various fields of the national economy including the chemical industry, it will make it possible to increase the separation efficiency.
