Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- Let us usher in a new era of prosperity with the same spirit and mettle as was displayed in pioneering the era of comprehensive development of socialism. This is the requirement of the times and revolution, says Rodong Sinmun in an editorial on Monday.
The vibrant image of the great era is associated with the great spirit, the editorial says, and goes on:
The noble loyalty devoted to realizing the plans and determination of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea without fail runs through the pioneering spirit that opened up a new stage of transformation in the comprehensive development of socialism.
The era of comprehensive development of socialism is a precious output of the strong spiritual strength of the great Korean people boundlessly loyal to the ideas and cause of the Party Central Committee and a great victory of unity brought by the harmonious whole firmly rallied around the Party Central Committee with a single mind and purpose.
The said pioneering spirit embodies the spirit of self-respect and self-sustenance to build a powerful and prosperous country without fail with our own efforts and wisdom.
The DPRK people's spirit of self-respect and self-sustenance has created the dynamic advancing spirit of our state which is making a series of changes and transformations in a three-dimensional and offensive way and leaping higher, faster and more vigorously.
The pioneering spirit is associated with the patriotic spirit of linking the country with one's own destiny and devoting one's own sincere sweat and efforts to the work for the prosperity of the state.
The pioneering struggle for the comprehensive development of socialism clearly proves once again the truth that if we unite in a patriotic mind, we will produce tremendous strength.
The editorial calls upon all the people to dynamically usher in a new era of prosperity with the same spirit and mettle as was displayed in pioneering the era of comprehensive development, united as one in mind around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un . -0-
