Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) — The 15th of April this year is the 114th birthday of President Kim Il Sung.
Pyongyang in April is always wrapped up in an atmosphere of boundless reverence of the Korean people and the world progressives for the President, the founder of socialist Korea.
Working people from all walks of life, service personnel and school youth and children are visiting the President’s birthplace in Mangyongdae and the revolutionary sites associated with his undying exploits.
And such various events as the national photo exhibition, the national art exhibition and the national industrial art exhibition are being held at the People’s Palace of Culture, the Korean Art Gallery and other places.

Streets and parks are beautifully decorated with various flower shrubs in full bloom.
At the April Spring Friendship Art Festival opened in Pyongyang with sincerity of the progressive mankind, artistes of different countries put on the stages famous songs of the times loved by the Korean people, adding to the atmosphere of celebrating the jubilant spring holiday.
