Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) — Women’s union organizations in Pyongyang held meetings to congratulate the graduates of senior middle schools who have volunteered to join the People’s Army.
The Ryongsong and Phyongchon district women’s union committees organized the meetings comprising officials and members of the women’s union, who served army in the past, and prepared colorful numbers including singing motivation and choral poem recitation to congratulate the volunteers of the new generation.
Women in Hwasong District, through a congratulatory meeting, made their beloved children cherish the immutable truth that happiness of the present and the future lies in defending the country.
The songs sung by women’s union officials and members in Taedonggang District at the meeting redoubled the strong desire and will of sons and daughters of the capital city to glorify their youth at the forefront of defending the country.
Women’s union members in Pothonggang and Rangnang districts put on the stage such art pieces as a poem reflecting the unanimous mind of the mothers to make the new generation harden their determination to become excellent soldiers boasted by the country and its people.
At the meetings, women in Hyongjesan and Tongdaewon districts and Kangdong County hoped that the volunteers would perform distinguished military merits.
