New Teaching and Training Methods Introduced at Extracurricular Sports Schools in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- Extracurricular sports schools in Pyongyang, which started teaching and training in the new school year 2026, are striving to introduce Korean-style superior training methods.
Table tennis instructors of Songyo District Extracurricular Sport School are improving the level of various hitting technique by concentrating efforts on theoretical education on ball contact and the control of the angle of the racket according to various ball spinning in conformity with the age and psychological characteristics and preparedness of the students, and by conducting the intensive training for ball hitting.
Basketball and wrestling instructors are enhancing the tactical and special skills of teams and individual students through game-way training.
Sosong District Extracurricular Sports School has introduced rational volleyball teaching and training methods to raise the physical and technical abilities of students.
Tongdaewon District Extracurricular Sports School has introduced effective training means for developing the strength of snatch, clean and jerk and waist to provide a guarantee for updating the previous records among students.
The teaching and training methods created by the badminton, boxing and judo instructors of Taedonggang, Ryongsong and Ryokpho district extracurricular sports schools were proven effective in practice.
Moranbong, Taesong and Hyongjesan district extracurricular sports schools are also pushing ahead with the work to apply teaching and training methods of practical significance. -0-
