Among the DPRK’s top ten IT businesses for 2025 is the Samhung Economic Information Technology Company.
It has been selected as one of the top ten enterprises once and included in the top ten IT businesses six times.
The secret of its success lies in attaching importance to talents, ensuring convenience of people in IT service and having an innovative insight in business management.
The company puts much effort into training talents.
Employees with creative thinking and high ability are chosen as talents to lead the company’s development.
According to a well-planned in-service training system set up in the development department, experienced and competent talents become “teachers” to give “students” lessons in keeping with the worldwide trend of development.
Also, the company puts effort into improving the overall technical standard of the unit rather than prioritizing technical abilities of individual employees, while arousing the creative enthusiasm of employees.
It is noteworthy that it attaches utmost importance to the demands and interests of people in the IT service.
It collects user feedback through its service apps, which includes requests for development of new technologies and novel ideas related to IT products.
It put it forward as a rule of work to value people’s demands and realize them without fail even though it might require much programming effort.

“It is not easy to obtain the honour of a top business but it is more difficult to retain it. However, we will maintain our reputation by making strenuous efforts,” said Mun Ryu Jin, a staffer of the company.
