The chemical industry sector is taking scientific measures to hasten its self-sufficiency and modernization in an effort to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the WPK.
Officials of the Ministry of Chemical Industry and relevant units are giving fullest play to the existing capabilities to increase production, building up new sectional structures and dynamically promoting the updating and reinforcement of performance of major equipment.
