Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) — There was a solemn ceremony at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the general staff of the revolution, representing the firm faith and will of millions of Party members and other people across the country to usher in an era of new upsurge in the Juche revolution by dint of the great strength of loyalty and patriotism along the bright path indicated by the Ninth Party Congress.

Officials of the Central Committee of the WPK had a loyalty-pledging meeting on March 11 to thoroughly implement the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress, true to the ideas and leadership of Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, with one mind.

Speeches were made by Kim Jae Ryong, Ri Il Hwan, Kim Jong Gwan and Kim Sung Du, secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK.

Referring to the unheard-of wonderful successes made in the overall Party and state affairs including the political, economic, cultural, defence and diplomatic fields over the past five years, the speakers said that their way is the one of justice, truth and victory, the ideal and ambition are sure to be achieved and their future would be beautiful and rosy as they are led by Kim Jong Un. This is the absolute faith and iron-willed principle they have more deeply grasped on the road of revolution under the guidance of the General Secretary, they noted.

They expressed their firm determination to play the vanguard role in ensuring that the new fighting programme set forth by the Party Congress brings about brilliant fruition, true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un with single-minded loyalty, saying that thanks to his far-reaching plan and extraordinary leadership, the country will make another leap forward in the next five years as it did in the past five years, startling the world.

They said that by actively applying the five-point Party-building programme in the new era to the Party work and activities, they will firmly maintain and consolidate the political climate peculiar to the Party with the monolithic ideology and leadership as the core, thoroughly establish the discipline of the revolutionary Party which is strong in discipline and sound in style of work and thus further develop the whole Party into an integral organization and an ideological pure entity sharing the ideas and intention with Kim Jong Un.

They said that they would concentrate the efforts of the Party work on ensuring that the Party organizations thoroughly orient and subordinate all their work to strengthening the single-minded unity of the party and the masses, further cement the people’s trust in the Party and unconditionally perform the tasks for carrying out the new five-year plan.

The Party ideological officials would enhance their role as microphones, powerful loudspeakers and hi-fi amplifiers faithful to the Party Central Committee in every worksite for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress, thus giving fuller play to the loyalty and strength of patriotism and unity of all the people and increasing the might of ideology and effectiveness of ideological work to the maximum, they noted.

They said that they would strengthen the Party’s guidance for making the whole course of carrying out the new five-year plan become the course of accomplishing the three revolutions with a firm viewpoint that the comprehensive development of socialism is precisely the struggle for changes in the ideological, technological and cultural fields and thoroughly embody the five basic requirements of the comprehensive development in the new era in order to ceaselessly give full play to the surging spirit of the struggle everywhere.

The WPK and the revolution would always emerge victorious as they are holding in high esteem Kim Jong Un who has laid an eternal foundation for permanently guaranteeing the ruling power of the dignified WPK and steadily made the great history of the people-first politics, they said. They vowed to devote themselves to the brilliant accomplishment of the programme of the WPK’s struggle, rallied closer around Kim Jong Un as one.

A letter of pledge of loyalty was adopted at the meeting amid loud applause of the participants.

Officials of the Party Central Committee are full of the revolutionary enthusiasm to work harder with unyielding will, extraordinary determination and redoubled confidence in the first line and on the forefront of the struggle for carrying out the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress, keeping in mind the honorable mission and duty as members of the general staff of the revolution.
