Enlarged Plenary Meetings of Party Committees of Ministries and National Agencies Held

Enlarged plenary meetings of the Party committees of the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport, the Pyongyang Construction Commission, the State Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports were held from March 4 to 6 to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the WPK.
Present at the plenary meetings were members and alternate members of the relevant Party committees and, as observers, officials concerned.
The plenary meetings discussed the measures for perfectly carrying out the tasks of their sectors and units with redoubled fighting efficiency and aggressive mode of advance on the basis of the successes and experience gained in the past five-year struggle for opening up the era of comprehensive development of socialism.
Reports were made at the plenary meetings.
The reporters said that at the Ninth Congress of the WPK, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un proudly reviewed the successes made in the period under review during which remarkable development and changes were brought about, and clearly indicated the most scientific orientation of struggle, goals and practical tasks for giving further momentum to the era of comprehensive development of socialism with confidence.
They noted that the speeches made by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un at the historic Party Congress serve as a great programme of struggle and immortal guidelines making it possible to achieve more comprehensive and innovative progress in all spheres of the revolution and construction with the honour of victors who pioneered a new trend of prosperity.
The reporters stressed that all Party organizations and officials should fulfil their responsibility and duty in the struggle for thoroughly implementing the WPK’s fighting programme.
The plenary meetings indicated the tasks and ways for the Party organizations at all levels to ensure that their sectors and units surely attain their goals during the period of the new five-year plan.
Speeches were made at the plenary meetings.
At the plenary meetings, decisions were adopted to ensure the thorough and perfect implementation of the policy-oriented tasks set forth at the Ninth Congress of the WPK and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the WPK.
