Performances of participants in the Third People's Art Festival were given in different parts of the country on February 16 to celebrate the 84th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Among the audience were Choe Tong Myong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials and officials, working people, youth and students in the relevant areas.
Put on the stages were colourful numbers singing of the boundless glory and happiness of the people blessed with leaders generation after generation.
The famous songs singing of the spring of February eternal with the historic birthplace of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the Sobaeksu Valley covered with snow added to the ardent yearning of the audience for the Chairman.
A male trio and pangchang “O Party, My Mother” and an oungum ensemble and pangchang “World of Humane Affection” resounded far and wide, reflecting deep reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is glorifying the DPRK as the strongest and dignified power and as an ideal country for the people, true to the desire of Kim Jong Il.
The performances were acclaimed by the audience.
