Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory message from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on February 19.
In the message the Chongryon Central Standing Committee paid the noblest tribute to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il , the founder and builder of the Workers' Party of Korea, and extended the highest glory and warmest congratulations to the great Marshal Kim Jong Un , symbol of the dignity and invincibility of the WPK, on the occasion of the Ninth Congress of the WPK.
The historic Ninth Congress of the WPK, to be held in the dynamic period when our country is making a series of advance for gigantic creation and changes, is a political event that marks an epochal landmark in increasing the dynamic driving force for the strengthening of the Party and the comprehensive rejuvenation of our socialist country, the message said.
It stressed that the red flag of the glorious WPK, which organizes and guides all victories of the Korean people, is obviously associated with the matchless greatness and immortal revolutionary exploits of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il .
The WPK led by the great Marshal Kim Jong Un is now demonstrating to the whole world its might as an invincible guiding force successfully carrying forward the ever-victorious history despite harsh difficulties and challenges, the message stressed, adding:
The great Marshal Kim Jong Un repeatedly sent historic letters, congratulatory messages, New Year messages and important teachings to further consolidate Chongryon, a precious patriotic legacy of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and a part of the socialist homeland, into a dignified overseas revolutionary organization of the DPRK, clearly showing the road ahead of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.
The message expressed the will to make a tangible contribution to the building of a thriving nation by sharing the destiny with the motherly Party under any circumstances, firmly defending the dignity and prestige of the DPRK and devoting their pure patriotic sincerity unsparingly, keeping pace with the people in the homeland who turned out in the new general advance toward the comprehensive development of socialist construction with the Ninth Congress of the WPK as the starting point. -0-
