The historic 9 th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) is just around the corner. The world is now witnessing with admiration a new era of socialist civilization and prosperity being unfolded in our country under the wise leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
Entering the new year, eye-opening monumental edifices were inaugurated across the country one after another just within a month’s time. They have contributed to the regional economic development and the people’s well-being and brilliantly decorated the eve of the Party Congress. These include the largest-ever Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm, the Samgwang Livestock Farm showing the transformation of rural development, and the Onpho Working People’s Holiday Camp which is a recreational base in the northern frontier representing the national spa culture.
All these are actual proof of the WPK’s firm will to fundamentally and simultaneously transform and improve the living standards of all the people across the country. They also clearly demonstrate the vigorous spirit of the expanded and intensified implementation of the regional development policy and the ever-increasing development potentials of our country.
The DPRK underwent remarkable changes during the past five years since the 8 th Congress of the WPK. Such a reality of great transformation is self-explanatory and requires no flowery language. The world is anticipating another five years of remarkable change to be unfolded after the 9 th Congress of the WPK and picturing the future image of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea that will be more powerful and beautiful.
