Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea is conducting the work to raise the atmosphere of technical competition, according to Rodong Sinmun.
Organizations at all levels of the federation are directing efforts to innovating the forms and methods of sci-tech festivals and exhibitions.
They are striving to make the festivals and exhibitions serve as occasions for arousing the enthusiasm of the participants, sharing successes and experience and disseminating sci-tech knowledge.
They have examined sci-tech achievements in an effective way so that the strictly selected research findings are presented to the festivals and exhibitions, and thus made them a process of raising the enthusiasm for technical competition among sectors and units.
They are pooling their wisdom to make not only presenters and but also many observers participate in sci-tech research presentations. They also plan to organize contests and different kinds of technical training courses so as to add to the zeal of the masses for sci-tech study and make everyone take part in the technical competition.
Meanwhile, they have strengthened the ties with relevant units to ensure that the April 15 technological innovation shock brigade campaign and the movement for winning the title of model technical innovation unit are conducted under specific goals. -0-
