Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a letter on Jan. 21 from the participants in the meeting to hear a report from the 35th art troupe of Korean schoolchildren in Japan who returned from their homeland.
The letter said that they held the meeting at the time when the Korean community in Japan is excited with joy at the news that the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un again showed for the children of Koreans in Japan attending the 2026 New Year performance the loving care to be handed down generation after generation.
Noting that in order to grant the ardent desire of the students of the art troupe, Kim Jong Un met and had a blessed photo taken with them as well as the students of the homeland participating in the New Year performance on the first day of the significant New Year when the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is to be held, the letter said that they are feeling great delight and excitement over his great loving care.
They shed copious tears out of boundless happiness, looking up to the benevolent image of Kim Jong Un who warmly shook hands with the leading members of the art troupe after the photo session and told them to train the new generations of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) into reliable pillars who will carry forward the patriotic cause, it added.
The best love and care Kim Jong Un showed for the art troupe of Korean schoolchildren in Japan are the glory and happiness of all the officials of Chongryon and Korean residents in Japan and the fortune and privilege that can be enjoyed only by Koreans in Japan whom he treats as the same family members sharing the destiny with their motherland, the letter stressed.
They vowed in the letter to remain faithful to the revolutionary ideas and leadership of Kim Jong Un with all possible efforts and make substantial progress in the overall patriotic work of the first year of the 10-year struggle period without fail in this historic year when the Ninth Congress of the WPK will be held and Chongryon will set forth clear goals and strategies for the new period of struggle at its 26th Congress. -0-
