Modern regional-industry factories have been built in Kim Jong Suk County, a historic place full of the pleasure of enjoying a new highly civilized life through the construction of the solid embankment on the shore of the Amnok River and modern dwellings, adding to the joy of the second inauguration season for the implementation of the regional development policy.

An inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories in Kim Jong Suk County for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy was held on the spot on December 20.

Present there were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and working people in Ryanggang Province and Kim Jong Suk County and employees of the regional-industry factories.

Ju Chang Il addressed the ceremony.

The speaker said that Kim Jong Suk County, too, greeted the inauguration of its modern regional-industry factories thanks to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , who made a crucial decision for epoch-making transformation in the regions unprecedented in the state building and devoted his all to its realization.

He called upon all the officials and working people in the province to make strenuous efforts for the perfect implementation of the Party’s policies and the comprehensive rejuvenation and development of the country, full of confidence in and optimism about the future, just like the creators and personifiers of the spirit of Kangwon Province who are opening a shortcut to self-reliance and self-support with the inexhaustible strength and pioneering spirit of self-reliance, cherishing the ardent love for their hometowns and country.

Kim Chang Su, chief secretary of the Kim Jong Suk County Committee of the WPK, said in his speech that the proud reality of regional change has been unfolded in the remote village, hundreds of kilometres away from Pyongyang, adding that today’s great auspicious event is a precious fruition of the noble outlook of the great Party Central Committee on the people.

He expressed his resolve to make the regional-industry factories put their production on a normal footing and push ahead with the work to consolidate their material and technical foundations, bearing in mind the heavy responsibility of being in direct charge of the implementation of the regional development policy and of being true servants of the people, and thus successfully turn the historic place associated with the revolutionary activities of the peerlessly great persons into a socialist ideal village.

The participants looked round the factories perfectly applied with modernity, scientific accuracy, practicality and architectural beauty, being surprised at various kinds of quality products based on local raw materials.

At the venue of the inauguration ceremony, an artistic performance and dance party were given and fireworks displayed in the sky, adding joy and optimism to the residents in Kim Jong Suk County who are to lead a rich life under the great loving care of the Party Central Committee.
