It was the creed and will of Kim Jong Il that if there is an almighty being in the world, it is the people and the country exists as the people exist and that one should pluck even a star from the sky and bring flowers into bloom even on a rock if the people wish.
Kim Jong Il visited more than 14 290 units all his life in order to make the people well-off, in spite of the biting cold of midwinter and the midsummer heat.
Countless is the number of light industrial, animal husbandry, fish farming, poultry and fruit production bases and other places visited by him.
He inspected nearly 1 000 units in the last three years of his revolutionary career.
