A peculiar green landscape adds beauty to the luxury residential district.
Here is a story about it.
One day, a few years ago, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un came out to the spot to see a miniature of the terraced residential district to be built.
He stressed the need to do good landscape gardening in the Pothong Riverside Terraced Residential District and added that it is necessary, in particular, to do landscape gardening along the bank in Puksae Street in front of the terraced residential district and along the bank of the Pothong River in a peculiar way as befitting the luxury residential district.
Saying it is necessary to plant many trees and flower shrubs of good species for good landscape gardening, he taught about the trees good for afforestation one by one.
He explained that it is good to plant drooping red maple in combination with fir as garden trees and gold-leaf Styphnolobium japonicum, gold-leaf elm with drooping branches and improved poplar as street trees, baked earth should be used at the time of creating green belts, and juniper and the like should be pruned to make good shapes.
His instructions embraced the detailed characteristics of plants needed for gardening such as flowers, trees and ground covers.
They were an extraordinary lecture on gardening which intensively showed his will to make this land more beautiful.
